Sunday Devotion

This morning, I arrived in church early in the morning and had breakfast with my pastor. We shared our thoughts of progressing in life and agreed that we would revisit this important topic in the near future and we proceeded to have an awesome breakfast in Starbucks here at Suntec City, my house. 😆

Offering Message in Church
Deuteronomy 8:11-12 AMP
Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not keeping His commandments, His precepts, and His statutes which I command you today, Lest when you have eaten and are full, and have built goodly houses and live in them,

Mark 10:29-30 AMP
Jesus said, Truly I tell you, there is no one who has given up and left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands for My sake and for the Gospel’s Who will not receive a hundred times as much now in this time–houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions–and in the age to come, eternal life.

When we build God’s house, He will build ours.

“Soul Detox” – Sermon by Phil Pringle
Psalm 103:1-3 AMP
BLESS (AFFECTIONATELY, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name! Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits– Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases,

Guilt will distort our personality. Unforgiveness will render us ill. Jesus helps us when He died for us. He removed the sins in our lives and healed us of all our diseases.

Fixate faith on the Word of God. Healing comes when forgiveness comes.

2 Corinthians 2:10-11 AMP
If you forgive anyone anything, I too forgive that one; and what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, has been for your sakes in the presence [and with the approval] of Christ (the Messiah), To keep Satan from getting the advantage over us; for we are not ignorant of his wiles and intentions.

The Blood
The life is in the blood. With the blood of Christ, every condemnation and accusation against you are wiped out.

Colossians 2:14-15 AMP
Having cancelled and blotted out and wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal decrees and demands which was in force and stood against us (hostile to us). This [note with its regulations, decrees, and demands] He set aside and cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to [His] cross. [God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross].

The authority of Christ is in His blood shed for us. He died for us. He died so that we might have victory over every pricipalities or powers as we proclaim His Word.
